Wednesday Prayer

Here, at The OAK, we believe corporate prayer and fasting is vital to the health of a church. If a church is not praying, it is dying. As followers of Christ, we must understand the true power of prayer. James 5:16 says, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective". Prayer keeps us aligned with God and fasting disconnects us from the world and our flesh and brings us to a place of true humility. That is why we chose the name "Warriors of Intercessory Prayer", or "WIP" for short because, YES, we are warriors of intercessory prayer but it also reminds us that we are all still a "Work In Progress"!

During this time we pray for local and global needs, for requests, and for what the Holy Spirit leads us to pray for. We would love for you to join us!
