 Prayer keeps us aligned with God and fasting disconnects us from the world
  and our flesh and brings us to a place of true humility. That is why we c
 hose the name "Warriors of Intercessory Prayer"\, or "WIP" for short becau
 se\, YES\, we are warriors of intercessory prayer but it also reminds us t
 hat we are all still a "Work In Progress"!\nDuring this time we pray for l
 ocal and global needs\, for requests\, and for what the Holy Spirit leads
